2013 Xplosive Edge Lifter of the Year

Premier Volleyball would like to congratulate Makayla Maxwell. Maxwell was honored as the 2013 Xplosive Edge Lifter of the Year, an award given annually to players who are dedicated to excellence in the weight room. Xplosive Edge Lifters of the Year are selected based off of character, work ethic, intensity, leadership, attendance and punctuality.

Maxwell, a 2013 graduate of Millard North High School, was a Middle for the 2012-13 Premier 18 Gold team coached by Rick Welch and Heather Thorson. In 2012, Maxwell was named to the 2012 USA Junior National Championships All-Tournament Team. This Fall, Maxwell will continue her academic and volleyball career at Washburn University. Last season, the Ichibods (formerly the Lady Blues) finished 7th in NCAA DII Women's Volleyball with a 30-4 record.

Premier Volleyball Qualifies 11 Teams!!!!

Premier earns 11 of a possible 20 Great Plains Region bids to Nationals!!!


This not only sets a Great Plains Region record for most bids earned by any one club in a given year but also sets the record for the the most number of bids earned by a 2nd team in any club (FOUR!!).

Congratulations go to our student-athletes and coaches for their dedication, hard work and perseverance in an increasingly competitive Great Plains Region. We also recognize the support of our parents, sponsors and friends to all student-athletes and our coaching staff.

Premier Volleyball Class of 2013

Good luck to our Class of 2013 athletes as they begin their college careers in the Fall!!!! Premier's Class of 2013 consists of 15 seniors, 13 of those 15 seniors have received and accepted offers to play at the collegiate level. Both Premier 18 Gold and 18 Black will be training into the Summer and will be competing at the National division at the 2013 Junior Girl's USA Volleyball Championships!!!

Congratulations to Bellevue University, Emporia State University, Hastings College, Midland University, Morningside College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Northwest Missouri State and Washburn University for securing such a talented group of athletes. Our best wishes to all of our seniors who begin their future careers in the Fall. We'll miss you all!
